BUFF® Firefighter Particulate Hood
Designed for ultimate protection and comfort, the BUFF® Firefighter Particulate Hood is engineered to safeguard firefighters from thermal risks and harmful particles. Its innovative three-layer fabric includes a blend of Nomex®, Viscose FR, and Elastan in the inner and outer layers, complemented by a middle layer of DuPontTM Nomex® Nano Flex for enhanced barrier protection against micro and nano particles.
Featuring HeiQ Smart Temp cooling technology, this hood helps regulate body temperature, reducing the risk of heat stress and fatigue in extreme environments. The composition includes:
- Inner/Outer Layer: 56% M-Aramid Nomex®, 31% Viscose FR, 6% Polyamide, 3% P-Aramid Kevlar®, 2% Carbon Fiber P-140, 2% Elastane
- Middle Layer: 100% DuPontTM Nomex Nanoflex®
Certified to meet the requirements of NFPA 1970-2018 and CE CAT III, ensuring high-level protection against thermal risks like flashover, contact, and radiant heat.
